9th District Traveling Gavel
The Traveling Gavel is currently at Bayou Chicot Lodge No. 430. To claim the Gavel, at least 5 members(1 of which must be an elected officer) of an 9th District Lodge must visit a Stated Communication of the Lodge in possession of the Gavel. If two visiting Lodges show-up with the same number of members, the Gavel will be given to the Lodge that traveled the farthest. Once claimed, the Gavel can be claimed by another Lodge after 30 days.
9th District Traveling Trowel
The Traveling Trowel plaque will be awarded to the 9th District Lodge with the most members present at the Quarterly District Meeting. If the same number of members are present from two or more Lodges, the Trowel will be awarded to the Lodge that traveled the farthest. The Trowel must be returned to the next quarterly meeting .
